IRONMAN, Pembrokeshire, Wales 10th September
There is just days until over 2000 athletes will tackle the stunning iron man course in Pembrokeshire, wales. Sunday the 10th is the day of the 7th annual IRONMAN WALES
The course begins on Tenby’s North Beach, which provides one of the most spectacular swim locations on the race circuit. Despite challenging bike and run courses, athletes are treated to consistent and motivating inspiration from some of the most vocal and enthusiastic spectators in endurance sports. The event consists of a grueling 2.4-mile sea swim, 112-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run.
IRONMAN Wales offers 65 qualifying slots for the 2018 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, HI. So the quality of competition is high for the elite triathletes, despite this
around 50% of those taking part in Ironman Wales have never done an Ironman event previously and they will be racing alongside (or just behind) the elite triathletes,
