For those who require a physiotherapy assessment and subsequent treatment, many health providers will provide you with an authorisation number which we will document upon your arrival to the clinic. Some policy providers may require our full contact details, health professional qualifications or physiotherapy provider number which you can obtain by contacting our clinic or via our website.
All of our health practitioners are experienced chartered physiotherapists who hold full physiotherapy qualifications and are members of the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) & HCPC (Health & Care Professions Council). Some private health insurance companies require a referral from a GP or Consultant prior to the commencement of physiotherapy. However, your insurance company will confirm this. If clients require further investigations such as an X-ray or MRI/CT/Ultrasound scan, we can refer direct or via your GP or Consultant for the relevant diagnostic examination to take place within a few days via most healthcare insurance schemes. If onward referral to see a consultant is required, we ensure that we refer clients onto highly recommended health professionals also via your policy scheme.
Many clients have a ‘Cash-Plan’ service whereby they are entitled to claim money that has been expended back from their health & medical insurance companies. In this case, we provide clients with a full receipt consisting of the specific dates attended and payment outlay.
