Sports Rehabilitator: Charlotte BSc (Hons), BASRaT registered
Charlotte graduated as a Sports Rehabilitator from the University of Cumbria, since leaving university she has been involved across a number of different sporting environments, including, rugby, football, cricket, ice hockey and marathon running, she has been at the G4 clinic since October 2015.
She has gained experience working alongside teams such the Scotland National Rugby League team, multiple football teams and multiple annual running events.
Charlotte’s main experience lies in runners, partially marathon distance, she has worked supporting charity teams attempt extreme ultra events, such as the Windermere 10in10, 3 peaks challenge and many world record running attempts. A keen runner herself charlotte has a deep understand of the injuries that burden runner and how best to create a rehab programme to suit every type of athlete.
From previous competing at a high level in cricket, which was cut short due to surgery on her knee and an ongoing spinal injury, charlotte has an understanding of what it’s like to be on the patient side of physiotherapy and not being able to be active.
With a good understanding in what is needed in both hands on treatment and a rehab programme charlotte assess and treats injuries from head to toe, due to her own injuries her interests do like in the knee and back and any running injuries.
