This Sunday brings the Ironman UK to Bolton for the fifth time. The race has grown in reputation to be known as one of the most premier events in the Ironman calendar.

The race begins at 6am with a 2.4 mile (3.86km) lake swim in Pennington Flash. Cyclists will then embark on a 112 mile (180.25km) three-loop journey from Pennington Flash and continue cycling throughout Lancashire’s remarkable undulating countryside. The 26.2 mile (42.2km) marathon run will then commence from Rivington and continue through the town of Bolton in which athletes will lap three times prior to finishing in Victoria Square.

The G4 team are proud to support competitors in this year’s UK Ironman following continuous physiotherapy, acupuncture, massage and personal training that has been conducted over the course of the year to assist with their associated injuries, recovery and physical fitness.

Good luck all and see you Sunday!
