at G4 Physiotherapy & Fitness
Our popular flexibility indoor gym sessions at G4 enhance muscular and joint range of motion to promote recovery, reduce stiffness and reduce the risk of injury. Sessions are taken by our team of physiotherapists and sports rehabilitators.
Sessions will incorporate specific joint and muscular stretches to increase range of movement which will help to alleviate stiffness. Sessions may also entail core stability work to strengthen your core which will help improve your exercise technique and training performance. These sessions are also useful for people recovering from injury, those who complain of general stiffness, those suffering from tight muscles and those who require general conditioning prior to the commencement of exercise. Sessions may also incorporate abdominal work-outs. Each session will last between 45 and 60 minutes.
Our G4 Yoga service is suitable for all ability levels and beneficial for those who would like to increase their general health and excel in sporting and leisure performance.

Our Yoga fitness instructors provide bespoke instruction and guidance to assist with health and well-being. The method aids the removal of lactic acid (a waste product produced in exercise) and focuses on the development of breathing awareness and control during activity. Balance is a key aspect within all sports and our instructors provide the most effective training and instruction to achieve this. Yoga training also assists to sustain a high level of mental focus and concentration allowing mind and muscular endurance to excel during activity.
Yoga is non-competitive and is a holistic discipline, which when practised regularly can help overcome and prevent many stresses, strains, aches and pains experienced in daily life.

Yoga/Flexibility Class Information
Our team provide Yoga classes for both individual one-to-one sessions and within a group setting in our fitness and rehabilitation clinic.
Potential Yoga clients suffering from any form of injury are advised to be seen by one of our chartered physiotherapists to discuss their injury and any relevant past medical history with subsequent advice.
Our instructors will then be able to implement bespoke Yoga classes which will tailor each individual’s requirements and goals to enhance the effectiveness of the sessions.
